Auf Wiedersehen Windekind

March 11, 2010

For those of you who haven’t seen my long face in the last two days, it’s time to announce the sad sad news. We have decided to walk away from . This was probably the hardest fall that I’ve had, wise, and it has been really hard to see the silver lining, but when you flip the “/Get Off the Yacht Coin” and it comes up tails, there’s only one thing to do.

So with a heavy heart, I bid adieu to the lovely Windekind.

      Alice,
I’m not quite sure. We passed on Windekind and ended up buying Convivia, our Cal 43. I don’t quite recall the previous owners names, though I may have copies of them in some pictures I took while we were inspecting her. If its very important to you, I would be happy to look back through my collections. When we saw Windekind, she was in San Diego. I think she may still be.
